Pine Ridge Nursery is committed to providing our customers with healthy, high-quality plants and a satisfying experience. As living organisms, plants require specific care and conditions to thrive. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds or store credits may be issued.
1. General Policy for Live Plants
Due to the perishable nature of live plants and the numerous environmental factors beyond our control once plants leave our care, all sales of live plants are generally final. We do not offer cash refunds for live plants after they have been accepted by the customer, except in specific circumstances outlined below.
Our primary goal is to ensure you receive healthy plants. It is essential to inspect your plants immediately upon delivery or pickup.
2. Eligibility for Store Credit or Replacement (24-Hour Policy)
Pine Ridge Nursery will consider issuing a store credit or providing a one-time replacement under the following conditions:

Damage or Unhealthiness Upon Receipt: If you receive a plant that is visibly damaged, unhealthy, or clearly not true to its described variety at the time of delivery or pickup, you must notify Pine Ridge Nursery within 24 hours of receipt.

Required Proof: You must provide clear photographic evidence of the damage or issue. Without photographic proof and timely notification, claims may not be honored.

Incorrect Order: If you receive a plant that is clearly not what you ordered (e.g., wrong species, wrong size) at the time of delivery or pickup, you must notify Pine Ridge Nursery within 24 hours of receipt.
Upon verification of a valid claim within the 24-hour window, Pine Ridge Nursery will, at its sole discretion, offer either: * A store credit for the value of the affected plant(s), or * A one-time replacement of the same or comparable plant, subject to availability. * Any replacement plant is provided without further guarantee.
3. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for refunds, returns, or store credit once they have been delivered or picked up:

All Live Plants: Unless covered by the 24-hour policy for damage/incorrect order.

Plants damaged due to neglect: This includes, but is not limited to, improper watering (over or under-watering), incorrect light exposure, unsuitable soil conditions, or lack of proper pest/disease management after leaving our nursery.

Plants damaged by acts of nature: Including frost, freezing temperatures, extreme heat, drought, wind, floods, or other severe weather events.

Plants damaged by animals, pests, or diseases contracted after delivery/pickup.

Plants damaged by mechanical injury (e.g., from planting tools, vehicles, or accidental breakage).

Plants that fail to thrive due to incorrect planting: Including improper depth, inadequate soil amendments, or planting in unsuitable hardiness zones.

Annuals, seasonal plants, and houseplants: These plants generally have a shorter life cycle or specific indoor care requirements.

"As-Is" or Clearance Items: Any plants explicitly sold "as-is" or on clearance are final sale and not eligible for refunds or credit.

Delivery Fees: Delivery fees are non-refundable.
4. Non-Plant Merchandise
For non-plant merchandise (e.g., pots, tools, soil amendments, fertilizers - if offered), you may return unused items in their original, unopened packaging, accompanied by the original receipt, within 7 days of purchase for a full refund to the original form of payment. Items must be in re-saleable condition.
5. Process for Reporting Issues
To report an issue and initiate a claim under the 24-hour policy for live plants or a return for non-plant merchandise:
